There can be little argument that readying to sell your home can be a stressful experience for even the most experienced sellers. As first home sellers, we were very much inexperienced in marketing strategies, listing and sales process as well as the state of the local market. Being aware of the nature of the industry, we were highly cautious about which agents and firms that we approached and eventually selected. Like any diligent vendor, we canvassed the local firms. Although we came to know the team initially through a reputable firm, our understanding about the importance of the actual agent rather than the firm became clear and as such would have no hesitation in trusting an agent, independently of the traditional firms. In short, I believe her approach and philosophies will be the preferred method of engaging an agent in the not too distant future as traditional firms struggle to justify the overheads of shopfronts as the industry shifts more and more to internet based methods. The Prestige team is nothing short of an exceptional example of what you could wish for in an agent trusted to sell your home. They definitely go above and beyond to arrange and coordinate every aspect of the listing, open house and negotiation phase often outside of hours. This included liaising with our solicitor whilst I was interstate. We trusted them absolutely with access to the property at their discretion. They were always responsible with our expectations, honest with their opinions and advice which we respected, and ethical with both the vendor and purchaser. This put everyone at ease and facilitated an exceptional outcome.
